See you on Tuesday! DON'T FORGET! New York State has doubled SNAP/EBT dollars at farmers markets! Every two SNAP/EBT dollars a customer spends are matched, effectively doubling your money. How does this work? When you arrive at the Westside Farmers Market, look for our market info tent: it has a big sign that reads “SNAP/EBT Accepted Here.” We will swipe your EBT card and give you SNAP tokens for use at our market in the amount you request. For every two dollars you exchange for tokens, we will supply an equivalent amount in Fresh Connect checks.  Tokens and Fresh Connect checks can be exchanged for any SNAP eligible item such as bread, dairy, produce, meats, fish, eggs and more. More dollars to spend means more local, fresh, filling, and healthy foods for you and your family! Stop by the market info tent for information. A sneak peak of what's fresh this week Fresh, local poultry is BACK at the market this week! We know many excited people are waiting for poultry, and we are so pleased to be able to offer it!  We are selling Fisher Hill Farms chicken and eggs at our coop booth, and you can purchase half or whole chickens and thenlearn how to prepare them here!  We are so glad to have them partner with us- they may not be able to make the drive to our market, but we're making sure their chicken does!  Thanks, Phil! Kitchen essentials are at the Westside Market! The Westside Farmers Market continues to provide great options for goat milk, cheese, and eggs from Clover Meadow Creamery and our fully stocked Coop Booth.  Lagoner Farms has been bringing overflowing containers of sweet cherries, tart cherries, and blueberries. We are officially on peach watch but no confirmed sightings yet. Artisanal bread is available on Genesee Street! Peace of Grain joins us every week with the freshest sourdough full size and half loaves, as well as other baked goodies.  Eat well with us each and every week at the Westside Farmers Market! Live music fills the air- come check out Ryan Sutherland from the Electric Spiders! Come visit with us at the market, grab a bite and enjoy the free live music. At the kids tent this week, we'll be making 3D construction paper sculptures! Last week our youngest shoppers were instructed in making silly creatures out of pipe cleaners. Come get some shopping done and enjoy a few minutes of relative peace while your little one works on crafting something silly and spectacular! LAST CALL FOR 1st CRAFT NIGHT VENDORS! Calling all crafters and makers!   We are often asked to include some one-of-a-kind items made here locally so each year we gather to do just that. This year's craft nights are taking place on August 6 and September 10. We are now accepting applications for all kinds of makers to be a vendor for some of our most popular Tuesday events! Would you like to be a vendor this year? To apply, fill out the this application form or visit the vendor info page.
